Meet Megan

Hi, I’m Megan Thoroman — the hands, heart, and sometimes paint-covered sleeves behind Reclaimed Rose.

I’ve always seen things differently. I can’t look at an old piece without imagining what it could become. That 1940s creamer and sugar dish? Vanity storage, good enough to display. The tall wine rack from the early 2000s we all shoved in a corner? It’s a “Towel Butler” waiting for a new role. Even the humble magazine rack — sure, magazines may be a thing of the past, but they make the best spare toilet paper holders around.

As someone who’s been refinishing and reimagining pieces for decades — and staging homes for more than 20 years for my real estate clients (yes, I’m also a Realtor, licensed since 2005) — I’ve learned that almost everything from the past has a new purpose waiting to be uncovered.

At Reclaimed Rose, that’s what I do: bring new life to old things. Not by covering up their history, but by rewriting their story for the way we live now. Because we all need these things in our homes — so why not recycle the once was into what we need now?

Style with a Story. Revived with Purpose. Found at Reclaimed Rose.
